Luc is a fictional character from Zoids: Wild ZERO and the squad leader of the Empire Forces.

Overview

Zoids Wild ZERO

Commander Luc appears in episode 1. He is chasing Sally Land as she flees from the Empire.

Luc spends most of the series following Sally Land, he appears intermittently closing in on the main party. He plays a relatively minor role until episode 22, where he manages to succeed in his task: he captures Sally Land.

This serves as a turning point of the series, as Sally allows Frank Land to stage a rebellion and activate the Omega Rex. With the Empire and Republic united against the Omega Rex, Luc ends up almost immediately on the side of the protagonists.

Personality

Luc is a brash military man who's extremely effective at his job. While he initially serves as an antagonist, he later turns to be a protagonist (following the change in view of the Empire overall). He is shown to be ruthlessly effective at following orders. None the less, his methods achieve results.

Ability as a Zoid pilot

Luc pilots the Cannon Bull. He is a highly effective pilot, and is often seeing going toe-to-toe with Leo Conrad.

Relationships

• Sally Land: Initially Luc and Sally are enemies. However, this is purely occupational for Luc. He was commanded to chase her, so he does it. In episode 23, Sally throws away a watch owned by her grandfather in an attempt to distract Luc. He keeps this watch, and returns it to her in episdoe 26, knowing that it's important to her.

• Luc's voice actor (Daisuke Kishio) is also the Japanese Voice Actor for Van Flyheight.
